Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky has denied allegations of bribing officials at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Gatekeepers News reports that this denial comes in response to a voice recording released by influencer Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, in which Bobrisky was purportedly heard admitting to bribing EFCC officials with N15m to drop a money laundering charge against him.

In the recording, Bobrisky also claimed that he never spent a day in prison after being convicted and sentenced to six months imprisonment for naira mutilation in April 2024, adding that his godfather arranged for him to serve his term in a lodge instead of jail.

Reacting, Bobrisky asserts that the viral recording is fake.

In an Instagram post, Bobrisky said: “My attention has been drawn to a fake voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid EFCC 15 million naira and that I was never in prison.

“I didn’t pay any EFCC money; it is a very big lie. I served my term in full and I came out. Discard any false information.”
