Confederation of African Football (CAF) has removed the Group D second-leg fixture of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

Gatekeepers News reports that the updated game fixture published by CAF on Tuesday does not include the Libya versus Nigeria game.

Initially scheduled to take place in Libya at 8 pm on Tuesday, the game was met with controversy after the Super Eagles players and officials faced a 14-hour ordeal at the Libya airport, leading them to return home.

The development comes after the first leg, which took place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, where the Super Eagles secured a victory over the Mediterranean Knights with a lone goal in the dying minutes of the game.
