Nigerian actress Osas Ighodaro has announced her role as a co-producer in the upcoming film titled ‘3 Cold Dishes’, which also marks Burna Boy’s debut as a producer.

Gatekeepers News reports that during a recent appearance on the ‘In My Opinion’ podcast, Ighodaro expressed her enthusiasm for the project, describing it as an adventure film featuring three major languages.

The screenplay for ‘3 Cold Dishes’ is written by Tomi Adesina and centres around three teenagers who were victims of sex trafficking. The narrative follows their reunion thirteen years later as they conspire to seek revenge.

“It is an adventure film where we speak English, Yoruba, and French and we are going through English and French-speaking countries from Nigeria to Cote d’Ivoire to Benin. I love it, it is directed by Asurf,” he said.

“You have Wale Ojo in it, you have myself and some amazing actresses from Cote d’Ivoire and I am also proud to be a producer on it. It is my first major, producing with Asurf who is the director and Burna Boy.”

Burna Boy will produce the film through his company, Spaceship Films, which he co-founded with his mother, Bose Ogulu. Although Big Black Mac serves as the leading figure behind the project, the film will also be co-produced in partnership with Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network.

The cast of the movie includes notable actors such as Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, and Brutus Richards, alongside several actors from Ivory Coast and Senegal.
