Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, made a visit to Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State, on Monday.
Gatekeepers News reports that during this visit, he met with Afe Babalola, a prominent senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) at his office on the campus of Afe Babalola University.
He also visited the prison facility where Dele Farotimi, a human rights activist, is being held.
Federal high court in Ado-Ekiti, on Monday, granted Farotimi N50 million bail with one surety.
The activist, who has been in detention since last Tuesday, is accused of spreading false information against Babalola.
