Kester Enwereonu: Celebrating A Legal Luminary By Ahamefula Njoku

As he turns a year older on December13, 2024, Kester Chukwudi Enwereonu is worthy to be celebrated.

Enwereonu is a successful attorney and business consultant. He is the managing associate at G&E Associates, a firm of solicitors, as well as CEO of Power House International, an energy development firm.

He is also the chairman of Virtual Technologies Ltd, which developed the indigenous secondary school e-learning portal based on local information technology.

Enwereonu obtained the bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 1989, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. He has over the years established a reputation as a thorough bred solicitor and a transaction advisory expert.

He has extensive experience in handling very complex transactions and legal matters in such areas as power and infrastructure, oil and gas, banking and financial services, maritime, real estate, information technology, hospitality and tourism, mergers, acquisition, etc.

In honour of Enweronu, an art exhibition is being organized in Lagos from December 13 to 20, 2024. It is anchored by Biodun Omolayo at The Art Hotel, Victoria Island.

My relationship with Enwereonu is diverse and multifaceted. Suffice it to just say for now that his late great father, Sir Benson Enwereonu, was my baptismal godfather.

The younger Enwereonu, the celebrant, who claims that he is now my new baptismal godfather, has tried to fit into the big shoes of my late godfather, Sir Benson. In this area, I don’t think he has faired well by my estimation.

But this does not detract from the fact that ”Uncle C” as those of us in-house fondly call him has made a great success in his life.

As he marks another milestone, with another year, adding a feather to his cap, he is no doubt an eagle on the iroko. l wish him a most memorable day and God’s speed ahead.

Njoku is a lawyer and author of the book, ”The Millionaire’s Curriculum.” (Tel: 0816 741 2614. WhatsApp Chat Only)
