Nigeria’s Super Falcon goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year at 2024 Confederation of African Football (CAF) awards.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria team’s goalkeeper who also won the title last year outshone Andile Dlamini, Khadija Er-rmichi, Habiba Sabry, and Fideline Ngoy.
Nnadozie received the prestigious award at a grand ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco, in recognition of her outstanding performances throughout the year.
Expressing her joy upon receiving the award, Nnadozie said, “This is for every young girl who dares to dream. I am honoured to represent Nigeria and Africa on this stage. This award is a testament to hard work, resilience, and the incredible support I’ve received from my teammates and coaches.”
