Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen, on Saturday!displayed a jersey with birthday messages for Tony and Tobi, the twin sons of Tony Elumelu.
Gatekeepers News reports that Osimhen scored the game’s first goal for Galatasaray, which ended in a 2-1 win over Goztepe at RAMS Park.
The goal came in the tenth minute as Osimhen was given a clinically executed penalty that deceived Mateusz Lis, Goztepe’s goalkeeper.
As he celebrated the goal, Osimhen asked for a customised Galatarasay jersey from the bench, which he displayed in front of cameras.
Designed on the jersey was a birthday wish to The twins, stating, “Happy birthday, Tony and Toby.”
Subsequently, Galatasaray celebrated the teenagers’ birthday, adding that it is “not sure who they are.”
Elumelu, however, revealed that the birthday wish was for his sons.
The business tycoon in a tweet on X, added that Osimhen had a week before, promised to dedicate his next goal to the twins.
He wrote, “Throwback to last week when Victor Osimhen promised the T-Men to dedicate his next goal as their 10th birthday gift—and, as always, he delivered in style.”
Galatasaray is leading the Turkish league with 11 points ahead of Fenerbache, which came second.
