Everton Sack Sean Dyche

Everton have sacked former English footballer, Sean Dyche as its manager.

Gatekeepers News reports that the club announced his dismissal in a statement on Thursday.

Everton also dismissed members of the 53-year-old manager’s crew including Ian Woan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard, and Billy Mercer.

The club noted that Seamus Coleman, the team’s captain, will take charge of first-team affairs temporarily alongside Leighton Baines, Everton’s U-18 head coach.

It added, “The process to appoint a new manager is under way and an update will be provided in due course,” the statement reads.

The sack comes a few hours before Everton’s match against Peterborough in the third round of the FA Cup.

Everton lost 1-0 to Bournemouth on Saturday, their eighth league defeat of the season.
