Police are searching for a van driver after a little girl, 3, died in an accident involving a van and a tram in Manchester city centre.
Gatekeepers News reports that Greater Manchester Police (GMP) revealed that the girl was taken to a hospital, but she tragically lost her life due to her injuries.
According to the police; the accident occurred when the van collided with the tram and was forced into the pavement where the girl was.

GMP said the crash was seen as an isolated incident with no further threat to the community.
“I would like to send my condolences to the family of the victim. This is a tragic incident where a young girl has sadly lost her life despite the responding officer’s best attempts to save her.”
