The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended registration for 2025 Direct Entry (DE) examination.
Gatekeepers News reports that the registration was initially set to close on Monday, April 7, 2025.
JAMB in a statement by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, said the registration process, which began on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, will continue until a closing date is announced.
The exam body urged candidates to proceed with their registration at any of its approved Professional Registration Centres (PRCs) starting today, Monday until further notice.
JAMB noted that the extension comes amid ongoing investigations into candidates suspected of submitting fraudulent A-Level results during registration.
The exam body noted that it has implemented measures to detect individuals with such credentials.
It urged candidates who have previously used fraudulent results to voluntarily withdraw, as investigations are being expanded to include students already admitted with such credentials.
