Edo Govt Begins Dualization Of Ekpoma-Uromi-Ubiaja Road

Edo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon Paul Ohonbamu, has revealed that the state government has begun dualizing Ekpoma-Uromi-Ubiaja road.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Commissioner, in a statement in Benin City, reassured Edo people that Governor Monday Okpebholo means well for the state as their expectations will be met.

Ohonbamu said the Governor believes that the whole essence of governance is to bring happiness to the people and this is what he is doing, improving the quality of living and not driving the people to desperate situations.

He said, “The Governor Okpebholo led administration has approved the dualization of the Ekpoma -Uromi-Ubiaja road and people who ply the road are testifying that they now save time in their journey and they have a good story to tell.”

” The massive construction going on across the state is beyond aesthetics and the reduction of traffic because there is also the economic aspects which is the reinvention of Commerce in the state.”

“The Governor has promised to construct three fly over bridges in the state capital because he is determined to transform and modernize Edo State to a portable paradise.”

Hon Ohonbamu who expressed optimism that the people are getting convinced of the capacity of the Governor, said the five point agenda of the administration is becoming impactful on the people.

He said, “The Governor is here to build a virile state with the project SHINE- Security, Health Care, Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Food sufficiency and Agriculture and Education.”

“There is no doubt that in all these, the Governor whose coming is divine, has done impactful things that Edo people can be proud of, because they now see that government is for governance.”

The commissioner noted that the government has constructed roads in Benin City, across the three senatorial districts, and schools have been renovated.

The schools include Eweka Primary School, New Era College, Ebomisi Secondary School, Ileh Primary School, Ekpoma, Irrua Girls Grammer School, and Udomi Primary School.

He added that even some Federal roads which the previous government avoided, are receiving attention from Governor Okpebholo’s administration.
