The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced an emergency counselling service for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates.
Gatekeepers News reports that JAMB noted in a post on its official C account on Friday that the helpline, 07002200016, is intended to complement its existing ticketing platform, which remains its primary and most efficient communication channel.
According to the board, the newly established Candidate Counselling Emergency Support Centre (CCESC) will be staffed by six officials—Gbenga, Yusuf, Dubem, Tony, Ogbonna, and Emma—who will handle calls from candidates and members of the public with genuine concerns.
The post reads, “In addition to our usual and preferred ticketing platform for Candidates Support, JAMB has now opened a Candidate Counselling Emergency Support Centre (CCESC).”
“Members of the public, particularly candidates with genuine concerns, can reach out to any of these officials: a. Gbenga, b. Yusuf, c. Dubem, d. Tony, e. Ogbonna and, f. Emma on 07002200016.”
