United Bank for Africa (UBA) has emerged as the strongest Nigerian brand in the 2025 edition of Brand Finance Report.
Gatekeepers News reports that banking brands dominated the top 10 in Nigeria 25 2025, which highlights the most valuable and strongest Nigerian brands.
UBA achieved a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 92.4 out of 100, securing a rare and prestigious AAA+ rating, the highest grade awarded by Brand Finance.
This performance sees UBA leap from 9th place in 2024 to 1st place in 2025, marking the most significant upward movement in this year’s report.
According to Brand Finance, UBA performs strongly across all key research metrics, earning notably high scores in brand familiarity, preference, and consideration, indicating strong consumer trust and loyalty.
UBA is also ranked as the 13th strongest banking brand globally among the world’s top 500 banking brands, underscoring its growing global influence and robust brand reputation.
