Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced the temporary shutdown of Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC), starting May 24, 2025.
Gatekeepers News reports that the announcement was made in a statement by Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the company, Femi Soneye, on Saturday.
NNPCL said the shutdown is part of a planned maintenance and sustainability assessment to ensure the facility’s optimal performance.
Soneye noted that the company will provide updates regularly through its official channels.
