Civil Engineering Intern

Job Description:
Our client, a reputable full-service construction firm, is seeking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to join its growing team.
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to gain hands-on experience in designing, planning, and executing civil engineering projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and develop practical skills that will enhance your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of drawings, plans, and reports for civil engineering projects.
- Support project engineers with data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Participate in site visits and inspections under supervision.
- Help ensure compliance with relevant engineering codes and safety standards.
- Perform basic calculations and assist in cost estimates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support ongoing projects.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong academic background and interest in structural, transportation, or geotechnical engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
