‘I Went Too Far’ - Elon Musk Regrets Criticising Trump
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has expressed regret over his recent criticisms of US President Donald Trump, stating that some of his posts “went too far”.

Gatekeepers Newreports that the feud between the two influential figures began after Musk criticised Trump’s “big, beautiful bill”, a spending bill that Musk deemed an “abomination”.

Musk’s posts targeted Trump, including a now-deleted post referencing Trump’s association with the late s3x offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump responded by threatening Musk with “serious consequences” if he funded primary challenges against Republicans who voted for the bill.

Taking to his social media platform X, Musk posted, “I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.”

This development comes after a week of public shots between the two men.

Meanwhile, Trump has made it clear he has no desire to repair ties with Musk, stating, “I think it’s a very bad thing, because he’s very disrespectful. You could not disrespect the office of the President.”

Trump also threatened to cancel government contracts with Musk’s companies, although he hasn’t given it much thought yet.

Musk had previously served as a “special government employee” leading the Department of Government Efficiency under Trump. He was a major financial backer of Trump’s presidential campaign, spending over a quarter of a billion dollars to support him in swing states.
