NJC Recommends Appointment 64 Lawyers As Judges

National Judicial Council, NJC, has approved the compulsory retirement of 10 Judges of Imo State Judiciary.

Gatekeepers News reports that council made the announcement in a press release it issued on Thursday night.

NJC revealed that nine of the affected Judges falsified their dates of birth in a bid to perpetuate themselves in office.

Additionally, the NJC ordered the retirement of Justice T. N. Nzeukwu for accepting to be sworn in as Acting Chief Judge of the Imo State High Court despite being fourth in the judicial hierarchy.
