South-South leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, on his conferment of an honorary Doctorate Degree by University of Port Harcourt.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a statement signed by the PDP’s South-South National Vice Chairman, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, the party described the award as a well-deserved recognition of Wike’s “sterling contributions to the advancement of governance, infrastructural development, and public service in Nigeria.”
The zonal arm added, “ From your trailblazing tenure as Governor of Rivers State to your current national assignment in the FCT, your commitment to excellence has remained unwavering.”
The party praised Wike’s unwavering dedication to democratic values and commended his consistent drive for impactful leadership, describing him as a “tower of hope” and “a shining example of what purposeful leadership can achieve.”
According to it, former Rivers State Governorinfluence transcends regional boundaries and this recognition reaffirms his place in the annals of national greatness.
The PDP in the region wished the minister continued success in his service to the nation.
