The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has issued a seven-day strike notice to the Federal Government, demanding refund of allegedly diverted workers’ funds from Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) and immediate inauguration of the Governing Board of National Pension Commission (PENCOM).
Gatekeepers News reports that this was revealed in a communiqué released after its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
NLC warned that failure to meet these demands within the stipulated period would result in a nationwide strike.
