NNPC Reduces Petrol Price By N10 In Lagos – Abuja

Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has reduced the pump price of petrol in Lagos and Abuja.

Gatekeepers News reports that petrol is being sold at its retail outlets in Lagos at N865 per liter and N890 per litre in Abuja, reflecting a N10 reduction from previous rates of N875 and N900 per litre, respectively.

Checks on Friday showed that petrol was sold for N865 per litre at the NNPC station in Abule Ado, Lagos, while in Abuja, the Federal Housing Authority outlet in Kubwa sold the product for N890 per litre.

The latest adjustment follows the August 6 price cut to N875 per litre in Lagos and N900 in Abuja, a reversal that came just two days after the national oil company raised prices to N915 and N955 per litre in the two cities.

Separately, Dangote Petroleum Refinery had on August 12, reduced its petrol price to N820 per litre, six days after increasing it to N850.
