Tinubu Congratulates Yilwatda – APC Candidates On By-Election Success

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated members of All Progressives Congress (APC) for their performance in Saturday’s by-elections held across 16 constituencies in 12 states.

Gatekeepers News reports that in a statement issued on Sunday, the president highlighted that the APC secured victories in 12 constituencies.

Additionally, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) won two, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won one, and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) also won one seat.

Tinubu also commended APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, describing the outcome as an emphatic first victory under his leadership.

He noted that the party’s success reflected the importance of fielding credible candidates and fostering unity among party leaders.

The president further praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting elections that were largely free of violence and logistical setbacks.

He expressed gratitude to APC supporters and voters for their confidence, assuring them that the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda remained focused on building a safer and more prosperous Nigeria.

Tinubu urged candidates who contested in the polls to uphold the values of sportsmanship and fairness.

INEC however declared Kaura Namoda South constituency election in Zamfara State inconclusive due to cancelled results in some polling units.
