According to Chief Orbih, Prince Aguele’s legacy extends beyond his role in politics, as he was a mentor, guide, and father figure to many. He praised the late prince’s humility, kindness, and commitment to justice and fairness, noting that his life was a testament to service and sacrifice.
The PDP chieftain urged the Aguele family to take solace in the knowledge that Prince Aguele lived an exemplary life that will continue to inspire future generations. He prayed that the Almighty God would comfort and strengthen them during this difficult time.
Orbih wrote:
“To the Family of the Late Prince Solomon Aguele
“I received with deep shock and sadness the news of the passing of our dear father and leader, Prince Solomon Aguele.
“Prince Aguele was more than a political figure; he was a man of peace, wisdom, and dignity whose humility and kindness touched everyone who encountered him. His role as the pioneer State Chairman of the PDP in Edo State was only one part of his legacy—he was, above all, a mentor, a guide, and a father to many of us.
“I will forever remain grateful for the counsel, encouragement, and friendship he extended to me over the years as one of his successors as State Chairman of Edo PDP. His life testified to service, sacrifice, and unshakable belief in justice and fairness.
“This loss is truly painful, but I urge the family to take solace in knowing that Prince Aguele lived an exemplary life that will continue to inspire generations. His memory and legacy will remain evergreen in our hearts.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the entire Aguele family. May the Almighty God comfort you, strengthen you in this moment of grief, and grant his gentle soul eternal rest.”
