Utah Governor Identifies Suspect In Charlie Kirk Killing As Tyler Robinson

Utah Governor, Spencer Cox on Friday identified Tyler Robinson as the suspect in the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

Gatekeepers News reports that Cox confirmed to reporters that Robinson was arrested after a family member tipped off police.

He said, “On the evening of September 11th, a family member of Tyler Robinson reached out to a family friend, who contacted the Washington County sheriff’s office with information that Robinson had confessed to them or implied that he had committed the incident.”

The FBI said Robinson was arrested Thursday night, 33 hours after the shooting.

Jonathan Silva, a mourner at a vigil, told AFP that “ It still feels insane that this happened”, Another student, Dave Sanchez, said the killing left him “sick to my stomach.”

Former President Donald Trump called Kirk a martyr and demanded death penalty for the gunman.
