Nigerian gospel singer Victor Thompson and his wife, Henrietta, are set to become parents for the first time after waiting almost five years.
Gatekeepers News reports that the couple shared the joyful news on Instagram on Wednesday, posting photos and videos from their maternity shoot.
Thompson revealed that the journey had taken four years and nine months, which he described as a period filled with questions.
The singer also used the moment to celebrate Henrietta’s birthday, adding that their relationship became stronger during the waiting period.
He wrote, “We didn’t understand delay. For all the questions we had in our waiting season, God has proved himself to us.”
