Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has officially received her grand prize of ₦150 million, comprising ₦80 million in cash and a brand-new Innoson SUV, following her triumph in the “10/10” edition of the reality TV show.

Gatekeepers Newreports that the prize presentation ceremony, held in Lagos on Tuesday, drew cheers from fans, sponsors, and fellow housemates.

The 23-year-old actress and fashion designer from Oyo State beamed with excitement as she received her symbolic cheque and posed beside her white SUV adorned with ribbons — a moment that quickly went viral on social media under the hashtags #ImisiTheQueen and #BBNaija10Winner.

Dressed in a striking red outfit, Imisi joined the show’s organisers, sponsors, and host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu for the official handover. The event was attended by representatives from Multichoice Nigeria and major brand partners.

Imisi’s journey to victory was nothing short of extraordinary. Over 72 days, she outlasted 28 contestants, navigated shifting alliances, emotional highs, and intense competitions, winning over millions of viewers across Africa. She emerged with a commanding 42.8% of the total votes — far ahead of Dede (15.94%) and Koyin (15.23%), while others like Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella, and Kaybobo trailed behind.

Her authentic personality, emotional intelligence, and calm under pressure were widely praised as key traits behind her success. Fans and commentators described her as “one of the most deserving winners” in the show’s history — though some debates continue online about her alleged “pity vote” strategy, a label occasionally used for past winners.

Social media platforms have since been flooded with congratulatory messages from celebrities, fans, and former housemates celebrating her win.

Beyond Imisi’s victory, the show’s finale sparked emotional reunions among evicted contestants. A viral video captured Isabella Georgewill reuniting with her young son, Jason, in a heartwarming embrace that touched viewers.

Other housemates — including Dede, Kaybobo, Thelma, Mensan, Rooboy, Koyin, and Gigi Jasmine — also gathered at the Big Brother house and the Multichoice studio for a mini reunion, reflecting on what many described as a “life-changing journey.”
