The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has informed the court that the health condition of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is not life-threatening.
Gatekeepers News reports that Justice James Omotosho had earlier, on September 26, directed the NMA president to set up a medical panel to assess Kanu’s health status.
The directive followed an application seeking Kanu’s transfer from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) to the National Hospital in Abuja for medical treatment.
