Nottingham Forest have sacked their manager, Ange Postecoglou after a 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea.
Gatekeepers News reports that the club announced his dismissal which follows a 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea, in a post on X.
It wrote, “Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that after a series of disappointing results and performances, Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect. The club will make no further comment at this time.”
Postecoglou was appointed on September 9 2025. He was unable to register a single victory in eight games across all competitions, earning only one point from five league matches. Forest currently sit 17th, just one point above the relegation zone.
