The United States President Donald Trump has introduced a fresh visa restriction measure aimed at individuals linked to alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that announcing the move on Wednesday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the updated guideline under the Immigration and Nationality Act empowers the State Department to block entry for anyone who has directed, authorised, significantly supported, participated in, or carried out violations of religious freedom.
He added that close relatives of such individuals may also be affected under the same rule.
