Central Bank of Nigeria has revoked the operating licences of Aso Savings and Loans Plc and Union Homes Savings and Loans Plc for failing to comply with banking regulations.
Gatekeepers News reports that the apex bank announced the decision in a statement issued on Wednesday.
According to CBN, the move forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight of the mortgage sub-sector and enforce adherence to relevant laws and regulatory standards.
