Federal Capital Territory High Court has turned down a bail request filed by Abubakar Malami, the former attorney-general of the federation (AGF) and minister of justice, keeping him in custody of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Gatekeepers News reports that delivering the ruling on Thursday, Justice Babangida Hassan held that Malami’s continued detention was lawful, noting that it was carried out in line with a valid remand order issued by the court.
