Transgrid Enerco Limited has officially concluded the acquisition of a 60 percent controlling interest in Eko Electricity Distribution Company (Eko DisCo) in a transaction valued at around ₦360 billion.
Gatekeepers News reports that this agreement, previously under a Share Purchase Agreement signed earlier this year, represents one of the most significant private takeovers in Nigeria’s electricity distribution sector since the industry’s privatization in 2013.
