Federal Government has rolled out Nigeria House Davos, a national platform to showcase the country’s economic potential and attract investors during the 56th World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, running from January 19–23, 2026.
Gatekeepers News reports that the initiative marks the first time Nigeria will have its own official house on the Davos Promenade.
In a statement, Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information at the State House, said Nigeria House Davos will be used to highlight the nation’s economic reforms, institutional strengths, investment readiness, and cultural identity to global leaders and investors.
The project is being delivered under a public‑private partnership (PPP) that brings together ministries such as Industry, Trade and Investment, Finance, and Foreign Affairs, working with private firms including Eviola & Co Integrated Services Ltd, Lex‑Con Advisory Services Ltd, and UFAM Services Nigeria Ltd, along with international partners.
Oladunjoye explained that the platform will host ministerial sessions, high‑level roundtables, policy dialogues, investment engagements, cultural diplomacy events, and bilateral meetings.
Each day of the programme will focus on key themes such as trade and agriculture infrastructure, solid minerals value chain, climate and energy investment, digital trade and technology, and the creative economy, with discussions also covering finance, investment security, and legislative frameworks.
He noted that countries and multinational organisations have used national houses at Davos as tools of soft power and economic diplomacy. With Nigeria House Davos, the government aims to present the country’s reform story directly to global decision‑makers and position Nigeria as an attractive destination for foreign direct investment (FDI).
The presidency called on public institutions, private sector players, financial partners, and international stakeholders to participate actively and make Nigeria’s debut at Davos unified and effective in attracting partnerships and investment opportunities.
