JUST IN: Court Orders FCTA Workers To Halt Strike

Court Court

National Industrial Court sitting in Abuja has orderes workers under Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) to immediately suspend their ongoing strike.

Gatekeepers News reports that the ruling was delivered on Tuesday by the presiding judge, Emmanuel Subilim, who stated that while the issue before the court qualifies as a trade dispute, the workers’ right to embark on a strike is not unlimited.

The judge explained that once a dispute has been formally brought before National Industrial Court, any strike related to the matter must stop until the court reaches a final decision on the case.

This is a developing story…
