Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS) Morning Drive has released its findings on a viral video believed to be showing Senator Adams Oshiomhole and a lady inside a private jet.

Gatekeepers News reports that the former Edo Governor has denied the clip, which has gathered public attention online, describing it as AI-generated and fake, and urged the public not to treat it as authentic.

To ascertain the veracity of the video, EBS Morning Drive conducted an analysis using AI-assisted tools and frame extraction. The video, identified as VID-20260204-WA0013.mp4, is approximately 30 seconds long, in MP4 format with a vertical 720×1184 resolution typical of social media content.

It shows initial shots of a private jet on the tarmac, interior shots of a luxury aircraft cabin, and two individuals inside the aircraft, including close-ups purportedly showing a public figure and a female companion.

The review identified several indicators suggesting the content is AI-generated. Facial anomalies were observed, including unnatural skin texture, inconsistent lighting, and soft edges around the jawline and hairline.

The faces displayed limited natural movement and lacked micro-expressions, while body movements appeared authentic but facial movements sometimes lagged or did not synchronize fully with head motion. Inconsistencies were also noted in eye focus and gaze direction.

Technical artifacts further pointed to manipulation. The analysis highlighted differences in compression around faces, color grading mismatches between skin tones and the environment, and resolution discontinuities in the facial region compared to the background.

Contextual factors, such as the presence of social media overlays, convenient camera angles, and the staged appearance of the scenario, suggested the video was constructed to gain attention and create a compromising impression.

EBS Morning Drive compared the video with known AI-generation techniques and found characteristics consistent with deepfake or face-swap technologies, possibly enhanced with smoothing and color correction.

The analysis estimated a confidence level of 85–90 percent that the video is synthetic media. Similar cases include political deepfakes targeting public figures and disinformation campaigns using AI-generated content.

The station urged the public not to share or distribute the video as authentic, report it to relevant platforms, and verify through official channels if necessary. For legal or forensic purposes, professional digital analysis may be required.

EBS Morning Drive also noted that without access to the original footage, some artifacts could be due to compression, and professional forensic tools would provide more definitive verification.

“Based on multiple converging indicators – including facial anomalies, motion inconsistencies, technical artifacts, and suspicious context – this video appears to be AI-generated synthetic media (deepfake). It should be treated as potentially fabricated content designed to mislead or damage reputation,” the broadcasting service concluded.
