Four killed In Washington Stabbing Attack As Police Shoot Suspect

Four people were killed in a stabbing spree in Washington state on Tuesday before police shot dead the suspected attacker, authorities said.

Gatekeepers Newreports that the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to reports of a man violating a no-contact order at a residence near Tacoma.

According to a statement posted by the sheriff’s office, emergency calls escalated rapidly as witnesses reported a violent attack in progress.

“While en route, multiple witnesses reported at 9:30 am that a male was stabbing people outside the home,” the statement said.

A deputy arrived at the scene minutes later, where gunshots were reported shortly afterward.

“A solo deputy arrived, and shots were reported at 9:33 am. There were four deceased individuals, including the 32-year-old male suspect,” authorities said.

Officials added that a fifth victim was rushed to hospital but later died from their injuries.

Police have not yet released further details about the victims or the circumstances that led to the attack. Authorities said investigations into the incident are ongoing.
