PSV Eindhoven have been crowned Dutch Eredivisie champions for the 27th time after second-placed Feyenoord were held to a 0-0 draw by FC Volendam on Sunday.
Gatekeepers News reports that the result leaves PSV with an unassailable 17-point lead at the top of the table with five matches remaining in the season.
Peter Bosz’s side sealed the title after bouncing back from successive defeats to edge FC Utrecht 4-3 on Saturday.
PSV had taken firm control of the title race early in the campaign, dropping just four points before the winter break in a dominant run.
The triumph marks their third consecutive league title — their first such streak since 2008 — underlining their resurgence in Dutch football.
Feyenoord, who lifted the title in 2023 under current Arne Slot, were unable to keep pace this season, while Ajax, sitting fifth, have now gone four years without winning the league.
PSV’s latest success also secures automatic qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League group stage.
