Army Is Intensifying Offensive Against Boko Haram Terrorists – Brig. Gen. Ayoola

The Army is leaving no stone unturned in taking the battle to the camp of notorious Boko Haram terrorists , destroying many of their enclaves, including fierce offensive launched against the terrorists in the Sambisa forest, Brig. Gen. Tosin . Ayoola said recently .

Gatekeepers News reports that the Army offensinve within the 21 Armoured Brigade with headquaters in Bama , Borno State where Gen Ayoola is the Commander,. had led to the successful rescue of abducted civilians and restoration of peace to the Local Government Council which had sufdered devastating attacks from the Boko Haram terrorists .

Gen. Ayoola diclose while speaking to journalists in Bama town saying the army is recording significant successes in ongoing military operations across his Brigade

A batle tested Gen Ayoola who led troops to liberate many towns and villlages ,.including the the notorious Boko Haram camp – Allagarno in 2015 said the military remains resolute in its determination to root out boko haram terroriats , noting that “troops are leaving no stone unturned in taking the battle directly to the insurgents’ hideouts ”

According to him, sustained offensive carried out by troops have led to the destruction of several terrorist hideouts used by the insurgents for coordination and attacks.

“The Army has continued to destroy many Boko Haram hideouts within our area of operation. We are not resting on our oars until we completely root out the insurgents from their hiding places,” the Commander of 21 Armoured Brigade said.

Gen. Ayoola disclosed that one of the fiercest operations carried out by the Army targeted Boko Haram elements in the Sambisa Forest, where troops spent six days dismantling terrorist camps and destroying their fighting equipment.

The Army Commander explained that the renewed offensive forms part of ongoing efforts by the Nigerian military to degrade the operational capabilities of the insurgents and restore lasting peace to communities affected by over a decade of insurgency

He commended the courage and resilience of troops involved in the counter-insurgency campaign, describing their sacrifices as critical to ongoing efforts aimed at stabilizing the region.

He also lauded the contributions of other security agencies in Bama and its environs, saying the joint efforts is yielding positive results. He commended the Shehu of Bama, his royal highness, Dr. Umar Kyari Umar El-Kanemi for his immense support to the military .

The commander, however, warned unpatriotic individuals to desist from aiding the terrorists in any way, shape or form, stating that anyone found collaborating with insurgents would be treated as an enemy of the state and dealt with in accordance with the law.
