Air Peace has announced disruptions to its flight operations following a power surge that affected a critical part of the airline’s information technology infrastructure, leading to delays across its route network.

Gatekeepers News reports that in statement issued on Monday, the airline said the incident impacted a key server used for crew scheduling and flight planning, affecting the smooth coordination of some flights. As a result, several departures experienced delays while engineers and service providers worked to restore the affected systems.

The carrier explained that the disruption was caused by an unexpected power surge that compromised one of its essential IT servers. Air Peace said its technical teams immediately began maintenance and recovery efforts to minimise the impact on passengers and return operations to normal.

The airline apologised to travellers affected by the delays and assured customers that safety remains its top priority. It added that restoration work was expected to be completed on Monday, with flight operations gradually resuming normal schedules thereafter.

Air Peace also advised passengers to stay updated through its official communication channels for the latest information regarding their flights.
