JUST IN: Tinubu Appoints 26 Officials – Names Fayose Chairman Of REA Board

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of 26 individuals into key federal agencies and governing boards as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across strategic institutions.

Gatekeepers News reports that among the appointments, former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose was named Chairman of the Board of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), while retired Major General Junaid Bindawa was named chairman of National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC). Several other professionals and public officials were also assigned to leadership positions in government agencies. 

The Presidency said the appointments are aimed at enhancing institutional efficiency and advancing the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
