In a related development, Nigeria has secured the right to host the 2027 AEAA Conference in Abuja from August 16 to 20, 2027.

According to a statement by NECO’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Azeez Sani, Wushishi’s election followed his previous service on the AEAA Executive Council as the representative of the West African sub-region.

The council said the two developments reflected Nigeria’s growing influence in educational assessment across Africa, particularly amid increasing demands for digital transformation and the integration of artificial intelligence into testing and certification. (News Agency of Nigeria)
