Gatekeepers News reports that the three-week orientation exercise will end on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by Caroline Embu, NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations.
The exercise will take place simultaneously across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Registration of prospective corps members at the orientation camps will begin on September 30 and end on Friday, October 2.
The swearing-in ceremony for the prospective corps members is scheduled for Friday, October 2.
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished the prospective corps members and course officials safe journeys to their respective orientation camps.
He also advised prospective corps members to avoid night travel and use designated motor parks when travelling to their camps.
The announcement comes after NYSC had earlier scheduled online registration for the 2026 Batch C prospective corps members from September 7 to 13.
