Obafemi Hamzat, Lagos State Deputy Governor and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Kola Adesina, managing director of Sahara Group, are set to headline the seventh anniversary of Real Talk With Kike in Lagos.
Gatekeepers News reports that the anniversary is scheduled to hold on October 10, 2026, at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
The event is themed, “The Future of Nigeria: Where Leadership, Innovation, Culture and Media Converge to Shape Nation-Building.” According to the organisers, the discussions will examine the roles of governance, business, innovation and storytelling in Nigeria’s development.
Hamzat is expected to speak on public leadership and governance, while Adesina will address private-sector leadership, enterprise and innovation.
Other personalities listed for the event include Vlassis Liakouris, managing director of Mandilas Group Limited; Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, founder of Rise Network; and Bola Adesola, chairman of the board of Ecobank Nigeria. Adesola is expected to deliver the goodwill message.
The organisers said Akerele-Ogunsiji would contribute perspectives on education, youth development and innovation, while Adesola would bring a corporate governance and financial-sector perspective to the discussions.
The anniversary will also celebrate the broadcasting career of Kikelomo Abati, host of Real Talk With Kike, who is marking more than 20 years in the Nigerian media industry.
Real Talk With Kike is a live television and radio programme hosted on Inspiration FM and Silverbird TV. The programme has, over the past seven years, provided a platform for conversations on leadership, society, business, relationships, culture and contemporary issues affecting Nigeria.
The October 10 gathering is expected to bring together policymakers, business executives, media professionals, creatives and other guests connected to the programme.
