Edo Gov Suspends Primary Healthcare Agency Boss Over Financial Infractions
Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has officially assigned portfolios and sworn in six commissioners.

Gatekeepers News reports that the development was announced in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, on Tuesday.

According to the statement, all newly appointed commissioners must immediately begin their duties in their respective ministries.

The statement read: It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public that the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has sworn in six (6) Commissioners into the State Executive Council.

The newly sworn-in Commissioners and their portfolios are:

1. Hon. Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu – Ministry of Information and Communications

2. Hon. Dr Washington Osa Osifo – Ministry of Water Resources and Energy

3. Dr Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu – Ministry of Education

4. Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe- Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs

5. Mr. Andrew Ijegbai – Ministry of Mining

6. Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi – Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
