US President Donald Trump has unveiled the F-47, the country’s latest and most advanced fighter jet, describing it as “the most advanced, most capable, most lethal aircraft ever built”.
Gatekeepers News reports that this sixth-generation fighter jet has been in secret development for years, with an experimental version already in flight for nearly five years.
Trump boasted that the F-47 is “virtually unseeable” and “massively overpowers the capabilities of any other nation.”
He warned America’s enemies, “You’ll never see it coming… Hopefully, we won’t have to use it. But if it ever happens, they won’t know what the hell hit them.”
The F-47 is part of the “Next Generation Air Dominance” program, which aims to ensure US air superiority for generations to come.
Defence Secretary Hegseth emphasized that the F-47 sends “a clear message to our allies that we’re not going anywhere, and to our enemies that we will be able to project power across the globe, unimpeded.”
While some allied nations have expressed interest in purchasing the F-47, Trump made it clear that the full version will not be sold to any country. Instead, the US may offer toned-down versions, reduced by about 10%, to its allies.
