Job Description:
- We are seeking an exceptional Mathematics and Further Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive community at Awesome College Name.
- As a passionate educator, you will inspire and motivate our students to excel in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, fostering a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Further Mathematics to students across various age groups and ability levels
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, ensuring curriculum coverage and student progress
- Assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
- Contribute to departmental meetings, sharing best practices and collaborating on resource development
- Participate in college events, such as parent-teacher conferences, open evenings, and enrichment activities
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Experience teaching Mathematics and Further Mathematics at various levels (desirable)
- Excellent subject knowledge, pedagogy, and classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction, catering to diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork.
