Three members of the House of Representatives from Katsina State, elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Gatekeepers News reports that Speaker of the House, Rep Tajudeen Abbas, who presided over Thursday’s session read out their letters of defection on the House floor.
The lawmakers cited the lingering internal crises and unresolved conflicts within PDP, stating that its instability has hindered their ability to represent their constituents and align with progressive governance effectively.
