The House of Representatives Committee on Basic Education and Examination Bodies has said the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) issue was a human error.
Gatekeepers News reports that Oboku Oforji, the committee chairman, made the statement while speaking at a press conference on Tuesday.
According to Oforji, preliminary findings indicate that the error which affected over 300,000 candidates was due to human error not technical failure.
