The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has suspended indefinitely, Mr. Cyril Ujagughe, the Ward 8 Chairman in Esan North East LGA.
Gatekeepers News reports that this was announced in a statement by Barr. (Prince) Peter Uwadiae, Igbinigie Igbinigie State Publicity Secretary of APC, the state chapter.
Igbinigie noted that the suspension follows gross violations of the party’s constitution and disciplinary guidelines.
According to the statement, in line with party’s constitution, the Vice Chairman of Ward 8 is hereby directed to assume the role of Acting Chairman with immediate effect.
The party urged all members and stakeholders in the affected local government area to comply fully with the directive.
