Manchester City beat Manchester United 3-0 in the derby at Etihad Stadium On Sunday.
Gatekeepers News reports that Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland who scored five goals for his country last week, scored a brace from the total score.
Manchester United began the game stronger, with City’s new goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma saving a close effort from Benjamin Sesko. But that was their only real threat as City soon took control.
Phil Foden opened the scoring with a header from Jeremy Doku’s cross. Haaland doubled the lead by finishing a flowing team move, marking his 150th game for Pep Guardiola’s side.
In the second half, Haaland first struck the post but later added his second goal in the 68th minute after a clever pass from Bernardo Silva, sealing a dominant 3-0 victory.
The win ended City’s run of two league defeats and lifted them to eighth with six points. United, meanwhile, have only two wins from their last 12 league games and sit 14th under pressure-stricken coach Ruben Amorim.
Earlier on Sunday, Liverpool needed a stoppage-time penalty from Mohamed Salah to edge Burnley 1-0. The result kept the champions at the top of the table with 12 points from four games, continuing their perfect start to the season.
