Man Utd Beat Chelsea As Liverpool Keep Perfect Star

tManchester United claimed an important win over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday, while Liverpool continued their flawless Premier League run.

Gatekeepers News reports that United got an early advantage when Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez was sent off in the 5th minute for fouling Bryan Mbeumo.

Captain Bruno Fernandes scored in the 14th minute on his 200th Premier League appearance, before Casemiro doubled the lead in the 37th. Minutes later, Casemiro was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, leaving both sides with 10 men.

Chelsea struggled in the wet conditions but Trevoh Chalobah pulled one back with a powerful header late on. United held on for a 2-1 win, moving into the top half of the table.

In the Merseyside derby earlier in the day, Liverpool beat Everton 2-1 to maintain their 100% record this season. Ryan Gravenberch and Hugo Ekitike gave Liverpool a 2-0 lead inside half an hour.

Idrissa Gueye pulled one back for Everton in the second half, but Arne Slot’s side stood firm to make it six wins out of six in all competitions.

West Ham’s struggles deepened with a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace, their fourth defeat in five games, increasing pressure on manager Graham Potter. He admitted it was a tough moment but insisted he still had the backing of the club’s hierarchy.

Elsewhere, Tottenham drew 2-2 with Brighton, Leeds beat Wolves 3-1, and Burnley shared a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest. Arsenal face Manchester City on Sunday at the Emirates, chasing a third consecutive win over Pep Guardiola’s side.
